Actress and reality TV star Rakhi Sawant’s mother Jaya Sawant passed away this evening at a hospital in Mumbai. Rakhi confirmed the heartbreaking news and said to a leading media portal that her mother is no more. Rakhi’s mother was admitted to hospital weeks ago and was diagnosed with brain tumor.
Rakhi Sawant said it was a multi organ failure and she was very critical. The cancer spread to the kdineys and the lungs, the actress started weeping inconsolably.
Rakhi was spotted multiple times by the media as she went for her visits to the hospital. She would give her mother’s health updates and would ask papps and the viewers to pray for her mother.
According to reports, Rakhi’s mother breathed her last in her presence in Citicare hospital in Juhu.
Jaya Sawant was also a part of initial seasons of ‘Bigg Boss’.
